Zara is passionate about transfer pricing and the important role it plays for multi-national companies, particularly in the current environment. She enjoys working with different companies and getting to know the business and leveraging her experience across different sectors and clients.
Zara has specialised in transfer pricing for over 25 years including over 16 years as a transfer pricing partner with a large global accounting firm. She advises clients on complex transfer pricing matters including planning, transfer pricing disputes and conflict resolution, bilateral and unilateral Advance Pricing Agreements. In addition, her experience includes providing comprehensive transfer pricing advice in the areas of compliance, documentation, benchmarking and policy setting.
Zara has negotiated more than a dozen Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), as well as more than 30 transfer pricing risk reviews and audits for Australian clients. She has fostered excellent relationships with key senior executives within the ATO and this has enabled her to negotiate successful settlements for her clients.
