Three final IFRIC Agenda Decisions published in an addendum to the September 2022 IFRIC Update

During the meeting held on 13 September 2022, IFRIC had finalised the agenda decisions on:

• Multi-currency Groups of Insurance Contracts (IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts and IAS 21 The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates)
• Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPAC): Accounting for Warrants at Acquisition
• Lessor Forgiveness of Lease Payments (IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and IFRS 16 Leases)

In accordance with the Due Process Handbook, the IASB discussed the agenda decisions in its October 2022 meeting and did not object to the agenda decision.

The final agenda decisions are now published in an addendum to the October 2022 IFRIC Update.
