New TCFD Status Report released

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has issued its 2022 status report. The Task Force published its final recommendations in 2017. The 2022 Status Report assesses developments and progress during that time.
On this assessment, the TCFD found that:
- The average number of recommended disclosures addressed per company has steadily increased each year for the past five years.
- The percent of companies disclosing TCFD-aligned information has increased over the past five years.
- Climate-related financial disclosures on an industry and regional basis have increased over the past three years.
