May 2023 ISSB Update now available

The ISSB met on 18 May 2023. The meeting Update is now available.

During the meeting, the ISSB decided to ratify the amendments to align the climate-related SASB Standards with:

• the application guidance in IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures on financed emissions; and
• the Industry-based Guidance on Implementing IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures (industry-based guidance).

The ISSB expects to issue the amendments to the climate-related SASB Standards in June 2023.
