IFRS Foundation Trustees advance strategic priorities
The IFRS Foundation Trustees met in Montreal from 9 to 11 June 2026 to progress key strategic priorities and governance matters. Discussions focused on leadership transitions, funding strategy and proposed amendments to the Foundation’s Constitution.
The Trustees also reviewed global regulatory developments, noting continued reliance on IFRS Accounting Standards and growing momentum behind the IFRS Sustainability Standards. They received updates on standard-setting progress, including the recent issuance of IFRS 20 Regulatory Assets and Regulatory Liabilities.
