IFRS Foundation seeks feedback on proposed updates to IFRS Accounting Taxonomy 2025
The IFRS Foundation has published IFRS Accounting Taxonomy 2025—Proposed Update 1 General Improvements, which focuses on enhancing existing narrative elements to improve clarity and streamline their purpose within the IFRS Accounting Taxonomy.
The proposals include categorising text block elements based on their intended use, aligning existing narrative elements with the current modelling policy and making further general refinements such as targeted improvements to documentation labels and element types.
The comment submission deadline is 7 September 2026.
