GHG Protocol advances work on Actions and Market Instruments (AMI) Phase 1 White Paper
The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol has published a summary of stakeholder feedback on its Actions and Market Instruments (AMI) Phase 1 White Paper that was released in March 2026.
Responses showed broad support for reporting approaches that enhance transparency around market instruments and mitigation activities beyond what is currently captured in GHG inventories.
The feedback will inform on the Phase 2 work of the AMI Technical Working Group.
At this stage, an exposure draft is expected in Q2 2027 and a final standard is anticipated in Q4 2028.
