ESMA publishes response to IASB’s Request for Information on Post Implementation Review of IFRS 10, 11 and 12

ESMA has published its response to the IASB’s Request for Information on the Post Implementation Review of IFRS 10, 11 and 12. The response may be accessed here.

ESMA has also published a Report giving an overview of the implementation of IFRS 10, 11 and 12 by European issuers. The Report also provides recommendations on how issuers could improve the application of the standards and the transparency of their disclosures. The Report also notes certain aspects where, in ESMA’s view, IFRS 10, 11 and 12 should be clarified to address divergence in practice or lack of comparability. The Report may be accessed here.
