EFRAG requests that the IASB extend its consultation periods in light of the coronavirus

02 April 2020

Due to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak, EFRAG has sent a letter to the IASB requesting that the IASB consider extending the consultation period for a number of projects, including the discussion paper on business combinations and the exposure draft on General Presentation and Disclosure. EFRAG noted that they do not request an extension of the consultation period for Phase 2 of the IBOR project, as it is considered to be high priority.
