Jay Duke becomes BDO’s Global Head of Advisory

BRUSSELS, 7 December 2022: BDO has announced that Jay Duke will become Global Head of Advisory, effective 1 December 2022. In this role, Duke will be responsible for the ongoing growth and technical excellence of the network’s advisory business, with a particular focus on developing BDO’s worldwide Digital practice. Duke was BDO USA’s first National Managing Partner of Advisory and held the role until May 1, 2022. He also previously served on BDO USA’s Executive Team and Board of Directors.

Duke has over 37 years of public accounting experience with BDO USA. During his tenure as Advisory National Managing Partner, he grew the U.S. practice by nearly 200 percent. He also added significant breadth and depth, overseeing the addition and expansion of key service areas and capabilities that drove opportunity for the U.S. firm, its clients and professionals.

Duke was an early champion of BDO USA’s industry approach and is an active leader in the franchise industry. He has also been an important voice in global advisory efforts, overseeing the International Advisory Leadership Group and providing insight on international expansion efforts. Duke’s prior experience also includes serving as Assurance Managing Partner nationally, as well as for the Southwest Region and Dallas office. Duke is based in Denver, Colorado.
