Business travellers are able to claim back expenses on subsistence and accommodation when sent on a business trip overseas. Overseas scale rates were put in place to assist with the reimbursement of these expenses and to outline the rates available in each country.
From the 6 April 2019 updates to this list will come into place. For further information on what rates will apply to your employees depending on the country they are travelling to, please feel free to contact anyone in your client team.
Please note that if the country you or your employee are travelling to isn’t on the list, the rates of the closest country/city geographically to your destination that is on the list will be applicable.
