In a major related-party transaction, Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd completed the acquisition of a 100 stake in Berjaya Enviro Holding Sdn Bhd (BEnviro) and its seven subsidiary companies form Berjaya Corporation Bhd (BCorp) for RM700 million, marking its entry into the green economy with a focus on municipal and scheduled waste, as well as the waste-to-energy sector.
BDO acted as independent adviser to Berjaya Corporation Berhad in relation to the disposal of the group of companies.
