The Macquarie Group sells its shares in the Austrian energy company "Energie Steiermark" to the State of Styria

BDO Steiermark GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft advised the State of Styria on the purchase of just over 25% of the shares of the previous minority shareholder S.E.U. Holding S.à.r.l. in Energie Steiermark AG.

Energie Steiermark is an Austrian energy supply company. With its subsidiaries and shareholdings, the company is active throughout Austria in the business areas of electricity, gas and heat, with a focus on Styria, as well as internationally.
