Peter Gouw

Peter is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax adviser and deals with all aspects of tax and valuations.

He previously worked at a big four firm for 17 years, rising to become a Tax Director leading a national specialist tax team. Peter then joined PKF as Tax Partner in the Glasgow office which merged with BDO in 2013.

Peter’s experience includes advising Owner Managed Businesses, particularly in areas such as share schemes, capital gains tax and inheritance tax advice, M&A tax advice and due diligence, transfer pricing and (international) tax planning. He also has a wealth of experience in valuations for a variety of purposes and works with the UK national team in this area.

Being Dutch by origin, Peter also works on Anglo-Dutch relations for BDO and the wider business community. Peter is a member of ICAEW, CIOT, RICS and SSBV.
