On the 25th of November 2019, Pythagoras, a Belgian engineering firm, has been sold to Sweco Belgium.
Pythagoras, an engineering firm located in Ninove, provides services such as site supervision and site coordination in infrastructure works. Pythogoras guarantees a high quality, meticulous implementation and control of the use of the prescribed materials and procedures. The company employs 13 people and operates on a dozen of ongoing construction projects.
With 16.000 employees in Europe and projects in 70 countries worldwide, Sweco is Europe’s leading engineering, consulting and design firm. With the acquisition of Pythagoras, Sweco Belgium hopes to strengthen the effectiveness in the field of site monitoring and anticipates the growing demand for coordination, especially for large projects, in the coming years.
