BDO Corporate Finance successfully assisted Groep Jam, the largest Limburg based Mercedes concession, in the sale of its company to the French based Groupe Maurin.
The consolidation wave in the car industry continues as Groep Jam, following Mercedes Claes, joined forces with Groupe Maurin.
Groupe Maurin is one of the largest dealers in France with the distribution of 22 car brands. Besides operations in France, Groupe Maurin is also active in Switzerland and entered the Belgian market a couple of years ago.
Groep Jam is of true value for Groupe Maurin with a revenue of €130 million and around 200 employees operating in different branches in Hasselt, Lommel, Bree and Dilsen-Stokkem.
